The Daily Decision : Deciding Intelligently

Updated: Dec 17, 2022

Looking into the future, we can actually imagine what it would be like in view of communication and technology. We can and have seen the evolution of things like smart phones, the internet and even cars, and we can literally feel the need to build more and the need to engage more with A.I.

But what does this all mean in alignment to the challenges that we face today? why do we have to worry about things that have NOT yet happened, when we already have today to worry about, why worry about the future ?

Well a good place to start the conversation today, is in the acknowledgement that not being prepared for the future is a conscious decision based on various levels of ignorance, which at this point in time is really not an excuse anymore.

It's important to worry about the future because the decisions we make today can have long-lasting consequences that affect not only ourselves, but also future generations. By considering the potential impacts of our actions on the future, we can make more informed and responsible decisions that create a better world for everyone. For example, if we don't consider the potential consequences of climate change and continue to use fossil fuels and engage in other practices that contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, we could face severe consequences in the future, such as more frequent and intense natural disasters, food and water shortages, and mass displacement of people. On the other hand, if we take steps to reduce our carbon footprint and transition to more sustainable forms of energy, we can help mitigate the negative impacts of climate change and create a more stable and prosperous future for ourselves and future generations. In short, worrying about the future is not about being negative or pessimistic, but rather about being proactive and responsible. By taking the time to consider the long-term consequences of our actions, we can make better decisions today that create a better future for all.
