Taking risks can be a scary and intimidating prospect. After all, we are wired to avoid danger and seek safety and security. However, taking risks is also an essential part of life, and it can be the key to achieving fulfilment and happiness. As a famous quote goes, "I do not guarantee you fulfilment and happiness if you take risks, but if you want fulfilment and happiness, then you will have to take risks. That I can assure you." This quote highlights the fact that while taking risks doesn't guarantee success, it is a necessary part of the journey towards fulfilling our goals and desires. But why is taking risks so important? One reason is that it allows us to test our limits and push ourselves out of our comfort zone to be the best we can possibly be. When we take risks, we are forced to confront our fears and doubts, and this can help us to become more confident and self-assured.
Additionally, taking risks can lead to new and exciting opportunities, whether it's a new job, a new relationship, or a new hobby. Of course, it's important to recognise that "not all risks are created equal". Some risks are simply not worth taking, while others may have the potential to yield great rewards.

That's where our decisive mindset and prowess comes in. Our decisive prowess is our ability to make good decisions, and it's an essential skill when it comes to taking risks. By being decisive, we can carefully weigh the pros and cons of a particular risk and determine whether or not it's worth pursuing. This can help us to minimise the risk and maximise the potential rewards. So, how do we develop our decisive prowess? One key is to start by making small decisions.
Each time we make a decision, we are strengthening our decision-making muscles and becoming more confident in our ability to make good choices. As we gain confidence, we can gradually take on bigger and more complex risks. Another key is to surround ourselves with people who support and encourage us. Having a strong support system can provide us with the encouragement and guidance we need to take risks and pursue our dreams. Of course, it's also important to have a sense of humor when it comes to taking risks. As the saying goes, "nothing ventured, nothing gained." So, if you're not willing to take a risk, you might as well be a "couch potato" (just kidding!). In conclusion, taking risks can be a scary prospect, but it's also an essential part of life.
By developing our decisive prowess and surrounding ourselves with supportive people, we can minimise the risk and maximise the potential rewards. So, go ahead and take that leap of faith – you never know what amazing opportunities and experiences might be waiting for you on the other side. It helps noting it down as a decision as well. A first deciion for the new year I suppose ?
